Recensione Leica Summarit-M 75mm f/2.5 Usato
The Leica Summarit-M 75mm f/2.5 was one of the best telephoto lenses of this brand, produced in the period between 2007 and 2014, and which is suitable for FF and APS-C format cameras. Photography enthusiasts but also professional operators have always appreciated it for its optimal performance obtained, despite the absence of image stabilization, thanks to focusing carried out exclusively in manual mode.
From a manufacturing point of view, it is built with a special metal alloy which, in addition to ensuring resistance even in conditions of intensive and extreme use, makes it particularly easy to handle and very light, especially when compared to other M-sized lenses. From a technical point of view , is classified as a double Gauss type lens consisting of six lenses divided into 4 groups. Four lenses feature special partial dispersion glasses and two of these have a very high level of refraction.
The quality of the images obtained through this lens is much appreciated. In particular, the sharpness of the details is very striking, even if they relate to photos taken from a considerable distance, which are not distorted or penalized in the slightest; the contrast is also truly excellent although the best results are obtained in optimal light situations. For some time it has represented one of the best choices in this field also by virtue of its low price compared to similar lenses and the quality of its performance.
