Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM
The canon RF 50mm f/1.8 stm is a lens that can be used on cameras full frame and aps-c , in both cases indicates the appliances with RF and non-EF attack, Although it is possible to buy the special adapters that allow you to mount them equally. The 50mm is a fixed focal lens created specifically for the portraiture photography and for this reason it is right to right in the must -haves for all photographers who deal with this kind. The peculiarity of the fixed focal length is that there is no type of zoom so those who are not used could be in difficulty but it is only the first shots, after a short time it will become an irreplaceable companion in every photo shoot. The focus is automatic and takes place with one steppers Motor which can initially be noisy, especially for those used to AF Ultrasonic AF, but also in this case it is a negligible problem that does not involve any slowdown in carrying out the photos. The images are very clear in the center with an F1.8, to obtain the same sharpness even at the edges, however, you must necessarily move on to an F2.8 or more. The force majeure is undoubtedly the compactness combined with the weight, the latter in fact settles a lot below the 200 grams while the reduced measures make it easily transportable. The absence of stabilization can turn up the nose but considering the characteristics mentioned a little while ago it can be said that it does not detract from the quality and practicality of the lens. Although the cost is extremely reduced, the canon RF 50mm f/1.8 stm used can represent a more convenient investment as it allows you to obtain an excellent lens, controlled and certified, at an even lower price. Even if it is not a series L, the lens invoice is without any flaw, the materials are qualitatively perfect, durable and resistant. One of the most appreciated peculiarities of the 50mm lenses is the possibility of obtaining the bokeh effect , that is, the very pushed blur that helps to create extremely pleasant photographic compositions for sight. Obviously also with the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 stm all this is possible on condition that you know how to manage as it could be annoying if too exaggerated or, vice versa, too little visible. This is the classic support that cannot be missing in a self -respecting photographic equipment, it occupies very little space and is really fun to use. Excellent for photos, however it can be less effective when trying to take video footage.
