Canon EOS R5
The Canon Eos R5 is a professional mirrorless digital machine . It makes its debut in 2018, but still today presents cutting -edge technologies. As mentioned, it is a high -end product and its rather important dimensions, they bring it closer to a reflex rather than a pure mirrorless, so as to transmit a certain feeling of robustness.
The main characteristics that distinguish it are:
- The weight of the Canon Eos R5 is about 750 grams, including battery and SD cards
- 48 mega-pixel sensor which allows you to have high quality. Although the number is very high, this does not make it less rapid and can therefore also be used for sporting events: it will be possible to perform s in sequence to twenty frames per second .
- The optics to be used are the canon belonging to the RF series .
- The Automatic ISO varies from a minimum of 100 up to 51200 but it is possible to expand it in a manual to the range 50 -102400.
- The autofocus used is the dual pixel cos af which is quite quick. Combined with the fact that you can take 20 fps sequences, then it is clear that this machine body can be used in all situations. If you decide to opt, however, for the mechanical shutter, then the sequence will drop to 12 fps.
- The recording methods are that in 4K at 60 fps , while the F UL HD mode is available at 120 fps . Furthermore, for those who are particularly interested in videos, it is possible to take shooting at 8K but in this case the frame is really limited . The maximum recording time is thirty minutes in 4K, while it drops below the winds in the 8K format. Thanks, moreover, to the Autofocus dual pixel cms AF system you will have a rapid change of the focus of the subjects during video shooting.
- There is a double slot for SD cards or CFEXPRESS to have maximum versatility and a back-up copy.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection . Wi-Fi is also available at 5 GHz speed and also supports data transfer also with the FTP and FTPS standard. Wi-Fi does not only allow you to transfer the photos between the various devices but also to check the camera remotely.
- The battery life is very good: about 490 shots can be made with a recharge .
