Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8 D ED

The Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8 D ED is a wide-angle lens suitable for FF and APSC format cameras, suitable for those who own both camera bodies, produced since 2001 and currently in production. Focusing is automatic and occurs via an ultrasonic AF motor and there is no image stabilization. To correctly purchase a wide-angle lens, the first thing to consider is the shooting aperture; for this lens it varies from 103.7 to 63.5 depending on the focal length used. The minimum focusing distance is just under 30 centimetres. The lens hood is supplied. The weight and dimensions are in line with similar lenses in the same category. The materials and workmanship are, as always for the Japanese company, of good quality and give resistance and durability to the lens. The images produced appear to have notable sharpness and good color rendering, there are slight distortions and notable softness on the edges especially at the maximum focal length. Also there is the possibility of AF motor failure experienced by some buyers. The Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8 D ED is suitable for all photographers looking for a valid versatile support but at the same time to be used decisively for a specific photographic genre. The cost is slightly high but the investment is repaid when you see the photos obtained. It can also be a good lens to expand your photographic kit.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service, friendly, fast, and very professional. It's a shame they weren't able to pick up my Zenit equipment, but I understand the difficulty of reselling such a lot.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I don't care much about the missing box, but I know perfectly well that if I have to resell the product in the future, the missing box will detract from the overall value. These are today's contradictions: you can do something for the environment, but it goes against the prevailing market logic. 5 stars, however, for RCE's organization: their professionalism, the speed in shipping the perfectly packaged product. RCE is a wonderful online reference, perhaps the best for the quantity of products they carry, and the courtesy of their employees, always available. Professionalism is undoubtedly a hallmark of this company. Some say it's expensive... It seems to me that they follow the market more or less, and I find it in line with the prices.
