Leica APO-Summicron-SL 90mm F2 ASPH
The Leica APO Summicron SL 90mm f/2 ASPH is a prime lens that puts you right into the action. Its high brightness and unique aesthetic, combined with its depth of focus, make this telephoto lens the best choice for any photographer specializing in portraiture. The auto focus is extremely precise and silent and guarantees the photographer much more time to dedicate to the creative aspects of the photo.
Like every Leica SL lens, the APO Summicron can be combined with the SL system, designed to ensure operational longevity and professional conditions of use.
Thanks to the autofocus system with Dual Syncro Drive you can focus images from zero to perfect sharpness in a single instant, precisely and absolutely silently. This extreme autofocus performance is due to the driving system specifically designed to guarantee maximum speed. The limits are represented only by the size of the optical elements to be moved to focus, by the distance between infinite value and minimum distance for focusing and by the space available.
With a starting aperture of f/2, the lenses of the Summicron SL series have more compact dimensions when compared to brighter optics, while maintaining similar depths of field. The area of maximum contrast is in fact perceived as sharp, while those with minimum contrast are considered unclear.
the Leica APO Summicron SL 90mm f/2 ASPH lens is the ideal item for capturing perfect portraits, with razor-sharp details and always top light conditions.
