Leica APO-Vario-Elmar-TL 55-135mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH [11 083]
The Leica APO-Vario-Elmar-TL 55-135mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH telephoto lens is specially designed for APS-C format cameras and has been in production since 2015. The design and construction have been studied down to the smallest details to ensure way of having a product available that can be used in any weather condition. The body of the lens is in fact made entirely of metal, in order to guarantee robustness and lightness, and has a black finish which also makes it decidedly elegant.
It is particularly suitable for Leica users who need a long-range telephoto lens that ensures that even objects and people who are at a considerable distance are within reach. As for performance, it has automatic focusing via the AF motor which can however be deactivated so you can focus manually according to your needs. Image stabilization is not present but this does not penalize the quality of the images at all which are characterized by being extremely sharp and with a very low contrast. The zoom range is very versatile and varies from 80 to 200 mm in the 35 mm format, characteristics that make this telephoto lens ideal for taking shots with great personality or that manage to capture a strong emotion; also perfect for dynamic images while traveling or for capturing the highlights of a sporting event.
