The Canon 1000D can be considered one of the best entry level cameras thanks to its 7-point autofocus, 10.1 megapixel sensor and live view function. Even if compared to modern cameras it appears outdated from the point of view of technological equipment, it still remains a camera with a certain appeal among photography lovers. The design is typical of EOS series cameras with a prevalence of plastic material in the structure and a good grip on the right side. All function keys are easy to reach and use while holding the camera. The aforementioned 7-point autofocus system allows you to focus the image optimally and above all with a certain speed. the supplied lens also ensures that you can take qualitatively valid shots with any focal aperture. All this allows you to obtain good quality images capable of satisfying the needs of an amateur photographer, ensuring good detail in the images obtained. Starting up the Canon 1000D is quite quick even if the shooting speed is not high. The overexposure system is also good although in some cases there is a tendency to overexpose, with slightly high lights. Ultimately we are faced with a product which, despite not having technological equipment that is in step with the times, is still able to provide good satisfaction to amateur photographers.
