Nikon TC-20E II
The Nikon TC-20E II is a 2x teleconverter for Nikon SLRs, offered as RCE Foto guaranteed used equipment. It adds reach to lenses without changing your set of photographic equipment, a solution appreciated by nature and sports photographers. The build is solid, with metal mounts and Nikon finish, and performance is consistent with the brand’s reputation. A used lens that effectively extends the focal length on the Nikon F mount.
Designed for the Nikon F mount and selected Nikkor AF-S/AF-I lenses, it doubles the focal length and entails a reduction of 2 stops in maximum aperture. It maintains electronic contacts for AF, metering, EXIF and, when present, VR stabilization. Multicoating anti-reflection treatments help control flare. Users and reviewers report better results when stopping down, with AF depending on the effective aperture and the camera body.
Ideal for wildlife, sports, birding and long-distance shooting, it offers professionals and enthusiasts a portable extension when changing to a longer lens is impractical. It works best with fast telephotos for environmental portraits, discreet reportage and video from set-back positions. Choosing a used Nikon TC-20E II from RCE Foto means relying on thorough checks and the security of the guaranteed used from the largest European network of used photography.
