The Canon Macro MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x has been a lens in production since 1999, ideal for FF and APS-C format. It does not have image stabilizer and the focus takes place via Manua Focus. The cost for this element is around € 1150 and the assessments by users are close to € 9 out of 10. The lens is compatible with the Full Frame reflex APS-C Canon EF. The Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5X Macro lens has a focal length of 65mm and a field angle of 36.8 °, while the diaphragm is a 6-sheet f/2.8 f/2.8. The lenses are 10 elements in 8 groups. The minimum focus distance is 0.24 meters and the reproduction ratio is at 5.00x. It does not have stabilizer, nor of automatic focus, while it has full time MF. It provides for tripod support via a ring and is prepared for a lens hood canon mp-e 65mm fetherm. The weight is 710 grams in 81 x 98 mm. Among the advantages that characterize this article there are a great sharpness and exceptional quality of the images, an embankable handling and a body built with great solidity. With the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x macro lens, it is possible to have incredible enlargements, without the need to have additional accessories. Among the cons, on the other hand, freehand use is difficult, the field of application is very limited due to the very short focus and too high magnifications return a dark image. In addition, the focusing is difficult. The support of a micrometric sled is strongly recommended and the use of this lens is not advisable to novice. Solid product therefore, highly performing that offers great sharpness and image quality.
