Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art
The Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art, offered as a used lens guaranteed by RCE Foto, is a high-level choice for those seeking optical quality and reliability in their photographic equipment. The Art series, synonymous with superior rendering, solid construction, and refined finishes, is Canon-compatible and appreciated by photographers for its constant f/1.8 brightness and creative control over depth of field, even on a used mirrorless via adapter.
Designed for the APS-C (DC) format, it covers a versatile 17-40mm range that spans from wide-angle to standard. The wide constant aperture allows fast shutter speeds and low ISO, delivering results users describe as sharp, with clean contrast and natural colors. The construction typical of the Art line, with a robust barrel and metal mount, offers a professional feel; the AF is generally rated smooth and reliable, with wide, precise rings for accurate manual control.
Ideal for reportage, street, indoor events and video, but also for environmental portraits and urban landscape, where a wide field of view and brightness are needed. On Canon APS-C bodies it offers everyday versatility; on Canon mirrorless it can be used with an adapter while maintaining quality and convenience. A standout option in the world of RCE Foto guaranteed used, selected and checked for long-term reliability.
