The Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x lens is a professional lens that is particularly suitable for photojournalism and sports and nature photography. Thanks to the 1.4x Extender the focal length is increased between 280 and 560 mm, thus allowing you to obtain sharp shots with particularly vivid colours. Among its most interesting functions is the image stabilizer which avoids even the slightest vibrations during exposure and allows you to use the shutter at faster speeds than normal. Regarding the construction materials, this lens is made entirely of magnesium alloy, a material which at the same time ensures the lightness of this accessory and greater resistance to time and atmospheric conditions. Automatic focusing occurs via the ultrasonic AF motor but there is also the possibility of setting it in manual mode using the appropriate selector button. The Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x lens represents one of the best solutions for photography enthusiasts, especially for those who love taking shots of animals in the wild. In fact, thanks to the greater focal length it is possible to recover various poses that would otherwise be lost due to the moving away or closer of the animals. Excellent image quality, very sharp and with bright color tones. The only limit is represented by the zoom ring which is located at the bottom of the lens and therefore not very close to the hand.
