The Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR is a lens produced starting from the year 2009. Over the years it has been appreciated for its versatility and above all for its excellent technical characteristics which make it one of the best lenses that can be used by photographers of any level. It is made up of sixteen elements divided into twelve groups and in which we also find two lenses in special ED glass and three aspherical lenses. Its maximum aperture is f/3.5 - 5.6 while the minimum aperture is f/22 - 36. Focusing, however, occurs both automatically and very quickly thanks to the innovative SWM motor (Silent Wave Motor) and manually thanks to a specific function that allows you to switch from one mode to another very easily and requires a minimum distance of at least 50 centimetres. The opening of the seven-blade rounded diaphragm allows for greater definition of details in each shot even in the case of elements placed in the background and difficult to focus on, while the risk of having the so-called ghost effect is drastically reduced thanks to the special qualitative treatment from Nikon called Super Integrated Coating. the Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR lens is recommended to all photography enthusiasts for landscape shots thanks to the excellent focusing system and zoom available equal to 0.22x.
