Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF
The Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF is a telephoto lens capable of ensuring high performance also for shots made in the professional field, type in the photo-journalism sector, sports activities, in motion photos and also for astronomical photography . It is fine on a Nikon D700 camera.
It is quite small and light, so much so that, positioned vertically, it easily enters small bags. In fact, it measures 144x78.5 mm for just over 750 g.
The lens has 8 glass lenses and in 6 groups, with optical zoom at 0.15x and autofocus function commanded by the camera to which it is connected and a minimum distance of 1.5 m; However, the transition from AF to MF (i.e. to manual focus) is not very easy because it is necessary to proceed both when the camera socket, and the release of the ring on the telephoto lens.
Aesthetically it presents beautiful finishes, except of the speaker: it is a disappearance and the right size with the optical scheme that does not suffer from it in the position of a backlight, but tends to return; This inconvenience means that the component is subject to easily dirty in particular in the internal part (which has a velvet coating). In addition, the front lens remains somewhat exposed and it is necessary to pay close attention to avoid bumps.
The photos taken using the Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF are very well made, starting from the maximum opening with which the lens is equipped (f/2.8), with ultra -defined shadows, excellent both brightness and definition and without vignettes. The colors and contrasts are more than good EE capable of giving a considerable amount of nuances. Excellent is the three -dimensional yield and the blur is also made well while the performance drops a little in terms of distortion, in chromatic aberrations and in color fringing.
The Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF is ideal for those looking for a good product easy to carry and with large performances in particular in the 3D effect with blurred background and foreground subject.
