The Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8 g is a telephoto lens for FF and APS-C format and compatible with the Fullframe Reflex cameras and APS-C Nikon. Produced since 2012, it has been made with strong and resistant materials with a weight of 350 grams. The optical scheme features a focal length of 85mm, a field angle of 28.6 degrees, a maximum diaphragm of f/1.8, a minimal fire distance of 0.80 meters and a production ratio of 0.12x. The focus of the Nikon AF-85mm lens f/1.8 g takes place thanks to an ultrasound engine and is completely internal. Despite only seven lamellae in the diaphragm, it allows a well rounded opening and a good "bokeh". The ergonomic and easy to handle design make the Nikon AF-85mm lens f/1.8 g very comfortable and maneuverable and the quality of the product allows to obtain sharp images with excellent contrasts (also to the maximum opening) and total absence of flow of color without distortions.
