The Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM is a telephoto lens currently out of production which has the following optical characteristics: focal length of 85 mm with angle of view equal to 28.6 degrees, the compatible format is FF, APS-C, maximum aperture opening f/1.4. From a lens perspective, this lens features 11 elements divided into 8 groups and 9 aperture blades. Focusing occurs via a Ring-USM ultrasonic AF motor with a minimum focusing distance of 85 centimeters and a reproduction ratio of 0.12x. As regards functionality, the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM lens does not have image stabilization and tropicalization while, as regards focus, it is possible to observe the presence of internal AF and Full Time MF. the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM lens was designed with durable and resistant materials despite not having a tripod ring and a lack of compatibility with multipliers. The lens hood of this lens is supplied and has an overall specific weight of 725 grams. Thanks to the presence of the Super Multi-Layer Coating system in the lens, it allows ghosting and flare to be reduced to a minimum. Furthermore, the nine diaphragm blades allow the photographer to obtain shots with blurred images with a high visual impact.
