Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM II
Distributed by letter L, which identifies the professional home lenses canon, the EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 l USM II is a wide-angle zoom perspective for FF Eaps-C format. The excellent construction quality, the goodness of the materials used and the fine finishes, the weight (635 g) and the size of the barrel (89 x 112 mm), give this zoom a feeling of robustness already at the time of the first handle. It is not equipped with an image stabilizer and not compatible with the focal multiplier, the automatic (internal) focus is ensured by a fast and silent ring ultrasonic engine also equipped with the "full time focus function". The latter allows you to manually adjust the focus also with the AF active setting. The optical scheme of the canon EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 l USM II is made up of 16 elements in 12 groups within which there are 3 aspherical elements that tend to improve the quality of the image At the edges and two UD elements (Ultra Low Desverion) which contribute to eliminating chromatic aberrations while emphasizing the sharpness and contrast. Other features that make the canon EF 16-35 mm interesting interesting are tropicalization, internal zomme and the E.TTL 2 flash metering function, that is, the transmission on the focus distance to the system. The virtually circular form of the diaphragm (made with 7 lamellae) gives the image a soft, pleasant and uniform sensation of the blur. Thanks to the large opening, constant to all focal and good wide angle excursion, this perspective is particularly suitable for use in low light conditions, closed and outdoors. The lens is suitable for reports, photos of weddings and landscapes.
