Canon EF 300mm f/4.0 L IS USM
The lens is provided with the classic canon custody including the typical shoulder and passing shoulder strap, in the event that you want to take it to the belt. The custody is well padded and rigid enough to put and parade the lens easily.
This model has been on the market for several years, since 1997, and this feature is already worth it to mean the excellent quality and longevity of the product. First of all the lens belongs to the Serie L, known for the beauty, compactness and excellent manufacturing of the lenses.
The canon EF 300mm f/4, waterproof and splash resistant, is robust and solid: the body is metal and there is only one ring, used for focusing, which flows fluidly And it allows a more than satisfactory socket. The stabilizer works very well despite not being of the latest generation also because the lens is rather light, weighs 1.2 kg, and shows an excellent balance: the center of gravity is in fact close to that of the camera on which it is installed. In this way you can create excellent shots with relatively low times.
You can choose the type of stabilization you want, dynamic or not, and the autofocus mode or manual focus. focus takes place by means of a engine AF to ultrasound. The lens filters are from 77 mm in diameter; The cupboard is incorporated and from an aesthetic point of view it is very well, also once extracted and blocked it remains well stable and does not tend to go out or enter continuously, as instead It happens frequently with other competing models. The collar can be released and remove.
Although not labeled by the canon like a macro lens, the model is among the most appreciated by amateur and non -amateur photographers, precisely because of the great ability to bring the subjects to be immortalized. The reproduction report of the telephoto lens in the facts is 0.24 and it is a very high value for a lens with a maximum focal length of 300 mm which normally stands between 0.11 and 0.13.
The quality of the shots obtained with the canon EF 300mm is really excellent and the lens performs very well on the sensor aps-c and full frame so much from become almost a 400 mm f/4. The autofocus is reactive, even if not fast as that of the 500 mm super telephoto lens, and overall it behaves in a more than satisfactory way: the more or less optimal yield depends also to a good extent on Quality of the camera on which the lens is mounted.
As for sharpness, the images are very crystalline with well -saturated colors, and even with a converter the quality is more than acceptable. The canon EF 300 mm also like on medium and small sizes and allows you to obtain surprising results with the blur.
