Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM
The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 l USM is a telephoto lens produced by the Japanese house since 2019 and compatible with the Full Frame and APS-C format cameras that use the same attack or which in any case have an adapter From EF to RF. This landing has a very interesting fixed focal length as it is extremely suitable for portraiture photography, therefore optimal for wedding, events and ceremonies, as they can create detailed and clear image without any chromatic aberration Furthermore, the resistance to the flare is excellent. There will no longer be needed to heavily post-compliant with the subjects in the attempt to remedy the various defects. Even if the aberration is minimal, it causes a minimum disorder that makes the photo less clear than it should. The 85mm manages to reset this factor, leaving a cleaner and more three -dimensional image. The lens is equipped with autofocus via ultrasound AF engine, fast, precise and reliable in all conditions of both light and movement, stabilization is absent but a little practice is enough to remedy this lack . The absence of the stabilizer is not in itself a serious shortfall if you think about how much the structure has benefited from it in terms of weight. It has a minimum focus distance of 85 centimeters and a diameter for the assembly of the 82 centimeters filters, the latter aspect could be uncomfortable for those who have already certain filters of different diameters. It is a device from the Serie L and the high price confirms it, however it is possible to purchase the canon RF 85mm f/1.2 l second hand USM , in this case it could be obtained at a very cost advantageous without having to give up quality. The weight is little below 1200 grams which might seem high but already after a few shots you can not feel it. The focus is internal, so you will not be forced to see the barrel move, thus avoiding any risks of breakage due to the continuous movements. Returning to the lack of stabilization it can be said that this is relevant only using some types of cameras while for most cases the internal stabilization of the camera still manages to carry out excellent support. Also in this case it is a lens capable of enriching the photographic kit of every professional who seeks perfection in their shots, obviously those who practice a mostly naturalistic photograph may not need the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 l USM if not for The pleasure of having a complete series for any eventuality.
