Canon EOS R3
The Canon Eos R3 represents the perfect compromise between tradition and cutting -edge technology. The model is among the best cameras professional mirrorless today on the market, mainly intended for sports and fauna photography. It is no coincidence that the price of this digital is of high range, but buying it used it is possible to take home a Produced in perfect condition and excellent performance, saving several hundred euros.
Exit in 2021, the car reminiscent of a reflex but inside we find all the latest Canon innovations in terms of photography. Starting from the brand new Stacked sensor, up to the possibility of making fabulous video in 6k and taking advantage of an extraordinary autofocus capable of making available to the User 4,779 selectable sealing areas (3,969 in à video), even in low light conditions.
On the basis of what was declared by the same canon, La Mirrorless is placed as a middle ground between the EOS R5 and the Canon 1D X Mark III and is the designated heir of the 1D x Mark III.
The sensor supplied to the camera is the canon cos stacked from 24.1mp and allows you to shoot up to 30fps in RAW and JPEG decreasing to the same time the "" Rolling Shutter "effect in the video.
Otherwise, what happens with other specially designed cameras for the sports photography, La Canon Eos r3 offers the possibility of making RAW movies in format < B> 6k and uses a touchscreen screen totally articulated by 3.2 inches and 4.1 million resolution points.
Supplied to the camera there is also the new Focus Eye Control AF, which allows you to select the focus point only looking at the EVF electronic viewfinder from 5.67 million of points and refresher frequency from 120fps (the camera also makes use of the new system "" Ovf Simulation View Assist " ", thanks to which the movements that take place outside the frame can also be framed).
The car body of the canon eos r3 is built entirely in robust magnesium alloy has a little greater dimensions of competing mirrorless, such as, for example, the Sony A1, but it is still very compact and easy to handle (the measurements are 150 x 143 x 87 mm , for about 1 kg of weight with battery and memory cards included).
The handle is characterized by the beautiful finish in similar carbon, very pleasant to the touch and capable of guaranteeing a stable and safe grip. From a ergonomic point of view, therefore, the eos r3 is excellent and gives the photographer an experience of use of all equal to that of the Best reflex cameras. The buttons are many (among others we find those for setting the shot mode, autofocus, shooting times and so on), but wide and easy to handle even if you wear gloves; The menu is always responsive and is very well seen. To quickly scroll through the different menu options, there is a wheel on the back; Alternatively, the touchscreen display can be used.
On the left side of the machine there are a door hdmi , a usb-c (suitable for both recharging the battery that to transfer the data), 1 Flash Sync port and inputs for microphone and headphones. Furthermore, there is no lack of Gigabit Ethernet entrance, essential for sports photography professionals.
Integrated to the Canon Eos R3, there is also an excellent image stabilizer: using RF optics compatible with the machine, photos and Video made with the freehand camera suffer a reduction of vibrations up to 8 stop.
Another strong point of the EOS R3 is the connectivity given that the camera supports the Bluetooth 5.0 and the wi-fi 5GHz connections; Thanks to the presence of the Gigabit Ethernet door, you can also directly load the shots on FTP server. There is no lack the MFT (File Transfer) app useful for the transfer of images to PC, smartphone or tablet.
The battery is the LP-E19, the same as the EOS-1D X Mark III, and offers an autonomy up to 620 shots (on Video front you can shoot for 6 consecutive hours in standard frame rate mode, and up to 1.5 hours in 120p mode).
The quality and the sharpness of the images made with the Canon Eos R3 is really high even with high values ISO ( The sensitivity range ranges from a minimum of 100 to a maximum of 102,400) and the colors, even with little light, are always perfectly balanced.
