the Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 III lens has the solidity of simple things. Although it is no longer in production, it is still usable above all thanks to its adaptability to machine bodies of various types and structures. The Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 III lens is compatible with both reflex cameras with full-format FF (Full Frame) sensors, which guarantee high image quality, and cameras equipped with APS-C (Advanced Photo System type-C), which, on their side, certainly have the advantage of a greater depth of field and the possibility of decreasing the angle of field. The focusing system is entrusted to a lens AF motor, autofocus not ultrasonic. It does not have an image stabilizer, a detail which however does not intervene in a particularly decisive way on the qualitative capacity of the product: not being a telephoto lens, it is not significantly affected by the absence of a sensor for stabilization, which instead over long distances is almost essential. Compared to other zooms with similar technical performance, the Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 III is more compact, a feature that not only makes it more comfortable, but which has a positive impact on the appearance of the camera body itself, enhancing its style. The product is well balanced and suitable especially for amateurs and beginners, less used in the professional field, although it does not disappoint in performance.
