The Nikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED VR is a lens produced by the Japanese company since 2012. Over the years it has managed to be appreciated by a vast audience of professional and amateur photographers thanks to an efficient combination of a wide focal range (range 24 - 85 mm) and a compact structure which also make it perfect for everyday use . Photographs taken with this lens enjoy a high level of sharpness and stability through the use of an innovative automatic vibration reduction system and a glass lens ED(Extra-Low Dispersion) which guarantees high contrast even with the maximum aperture available. Focusing occurs quickly and automatically thanks to the SWM motor (Silent Wave Motor) and requires a minimum distance of approximately 38 centimetres, but it is also possible to carry out this operation manually thanks to a dedicated and easily activated setting. From a structural point of view, the Nikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED VR stands out for its compactness being made up of sixteen elements divided into eleven groups, lightness (weighs only approximately 460 grams) and for an excellent connection system made of rubber and which guarantees maximum protection from possible problems relating to dust intrusion , sand or water making it usable in any climatic condition. This lens is perfectly compatible with Nikon FullFrame and APS-C DSLRs.
