Angenieux 28-70mm f/2.6 AF

The prestigious Angenieux 28–70mm f/2.6 AF for the Nikon F mount is a rare and sought-after standard zoom among the finest vintage photographic gear. Offered as an RCE Foto Guaranteed Used lens, it combines solid build quality with a cinematic rendering that has made the brand famous among the most demanding photographers using Nikon SLRs. Its constant aperture and meticulous construction inspire confidence and are a pleasure to use. Fitted with a Nikon F mount and full-frame coverage, it provides a constant f/2.6 aperture throughout the 28–70mm range. Autofocus is body-driven via a mechanical coupling, delivering stable performance on compatible SLRs; there is no image stabilization. Broad, precise zoom and focus rings, a metal construction, and anti-reflection coatings ensure consistent operation. It is appreciated for its natural color reproduction, micro-contrast, and smooth bokeh, and is recognized for its robust construction. It is ideal for portraitists, photojournalists, and event photographers seeking a fast standard zoom with character, effective in available light for portraits, reportage, street, and landscapes. The constant aperture simplifies exposure and aesthetic consistency, including in video sequences on SLRs. By choosing RCE Foto Guaranteed Used, you get a carefully selected and tested copy, backed by the reliability of a network specialized in used photographic equipment.
