Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.4 G

the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G lens represents an important dynasty; since 1981 the Nikon 85mm f/1.4 has been considered by most professionals as a reference product, given its sharpness, spectacular bokeh effect and equally excellent color rendering. Subsequently, it was replaced in 1991 by the D version and was so successful that it received the nickname "king of bokeh" due to the fantastic and pleasant rendering of the out-of-focus areas, as well as extreme detail and brightly colored images when used at full speed. maximum opening. Finally, since August 2010, the last of the revisions, the G, has been available, which adopts precautions and improvements from a qualitative and design point of view so as to make it worthy of belonging to this family. First of all, it is a solution with 10 elements arranged in 9 groups and in each of them there is a layer of nano crystals so as to minimize the ghosting effect and internal reflections in a wide range of wavelengths and guarantee even greater clarity. In the body there is a selector for manual or automatic focus and, regarding the latter, it is managed by a ring-type ultrasonic motor with SWM (Nikon Silent Wave Motor) technology; this ensures maximum speed and precision without producing any noise. The management of vignetting is also excellent, which completely disappears already at f/2.8. Ideal for: the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G is undoubtedly aimed at professionals and those seeking excellence in portraits or low light situations; in any case, image quality and color rendering will be at extraordinary levels.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic experience like every RCE purchase. I had never bought anything from the Bologna store before. But the availability and commitment to satisfy requests is always at its best. Thank you very much. See you next time.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I purchased a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art with a Pentax mount. RCE Bologna's customer service exceeded my expectations. Same-day shipping. Unfortunately, I had a small local issue with the delivery, but the store called me and quickly contacted the courier for a new delivery date. I haven't taken any shots with the lens yet, but the K3 III welcomed it. Overall, a great experience.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent as always, although unfortunately this time I had already sold the item I wanted to trade in RCE, but Marco Anzani was prompt and kind as always. There will be another opportunity soon; RCE is now a sure thing.
