The Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VC USD is a high-performance wide-angle zoom lens equipped with an XGM (eXpanded Glass Molded Aspherical) optical element which not only offers quality standards equal to those provided by 15mm and 30mm fixed focal length, but allows you to limit distortion and chromatic aberration and make improvements in the field of sharpness. This lens has a very bright diaphragm thanks to which a pleasant bokeh can be obtained, consequently bringing greater prominence to the subject you intend to photograph. The USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor, located inside the lens body, allows for fast, silent and precise focusing and is certainly an advantage if you intend to capture fast, moving subjects. The materials used for the construction of this Tamron lens are of excellent workmanship and moisture-proof: in fact, since there is no possibility of applying a protection filter, the element located in the front part of the optics is equipped with a special fluorine coating designed to prevent the entry of moisture, water or dirt.
