Nikon PC-E 85mm f/2.8 D Micro
The Nikon PC-E 85mm f/2.8 d micro lens turns out to be the smaller and shorter version of the 24 mm PC-E model. Unlike what happens with the other products made by this company, an electronic diaphragm is used which is compatible with D3, D700 and D300 cameras. On the contrary, this model is not suitable for previous productions cameras because it does not work or you have to opt for the manual system due to the mechanical interference that limit the operation of the lens itself.
The technical characteristics of this product:
- an optical design consisting of 5 groups of elements, of which none and aspheric. However, one of these presents a nano-cristal coating;
- the close focus of maximum 39 cm;
- The diaphragm has an rounded shape and is an electronic solution to 9 blades. The major opening is equal to f/32;
- The angle of inclination is ± 8.5º;
- movement varies from ± 11.5 mm;
- the weight is 635 grams;
- the reproduction report is equal to half the natural size of the immortalized subject (1: 2);
- Dimensions 83.5x107 mm.
The launch of the Nikon PC-e 85mm f/2.8 d micro was announced in January 2008. It allows you to have the same performance as the PC-E 24 mm lens because it is a reduced version. At the same time, it reminds the lens 85 mm f/2.8 PC in 1999. Unlike this device, however, it presents the electronic diaphragm and the crystal dwarf coating. Precisely for this reason it is necessary to carefully check the electronic and mechanical compatibility of the camera you have. Secondly, remember that the Canon uses the electronic diaphragm as standard, so it is a solution compatible with most of the devices in this house. The package includes custody for CL-120 lenses.
