The focus is automatic and takes place via ultrasound AF engine which can be disconnected via the selector. The recovery angle varies between 84.1 and 20.5 degrees based on the focal length used, the minimum focus distance is 50 centimeters. The speaker is supplied and the attack can be uncomfortable.
