The Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4 E PF ED VR lens is a sports telephoto lens of great handling. It is a robust, well -built and that stands out for the extreme practicality and lightness: it weighs about 750 g, enviable for a lens of this caliber. It has the classic bayonet attachment Nikkor F-Mount and has been subjected to fluorine treatment: thanks to this procedure, the lens can be said to be almost tropicalized, since almost immune to temperature changes, pulviscolo infiltrations, water and humidity in general. Since it is a fixed perspective, the maximum focal opening is 300 mm, while for the diaphragm it is f/4: this makes it pleasant to be used in multiple contexts, from landscape photography to portraiture. Glass lenses are low in dispersion (commonly called and), which should minimize the production of chromatic aberrations. The Crystal Coat Nano treatment also avoids the creation of parasitic reflections within the perspective and ghost images. The AF-S 300mm f/4 and PF ED VR of the Nikon is equipped with an electromagnetic diaphragm, whose operation depends on electromagnetic signals sent by the camera itself. Finally, but not in importance, the lens is provided with the VR Sport Stabilization mode: designed for sports photography, it guarantees the reduction of the movements produced by fast shots, offering a surprisingly stable image already in the viewfinder.
