Leica Vario-Elmar-TL 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH
the Leica Vario-Elmar T 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 lens
The Leica Vario-Elmar T 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 is a standard lens specifically built for Leica T-series cameras, but which is still compatible with all APS-C formats. The accessory uses a particularly efficient and silent encoder (stepper motor) for focusing, while the optics are characterized by the use of 10 lenses distributed across 7 optical groups; 4 lenses are aspherical, a construction technology that gives the elements the ability to reduce any type of optical aberration, significantly improving image quality.
The Leica Vario-Elmar T 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 is an easy-to-use lens capable of producing sharp photos with excellent contrast. Like all products manufactured by the German brand there is no difficulty in working against the light or in low light conditions; flares are practically absent even in the most extreme situations, which allows you to capture really interesting details that cannot be seen with other lenses.
The price of the Leica Vario-Elmar T 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 is around one thousand and 500 euros, a cost amply justified by the professional quality which is typical of every Leica component still on the market.
Ideal for: Leica lenses are aimed at a clientele of professionals or great photography enthusiasts; however, this model is not excessively complicated and is a good purchase even for an amateur, who can only be gratified by reproductions that are always above average in quality.
