Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC EX

The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC Macro is a lens with great potential. Small and compact, it is structurally robust and not very heavy (just 450g), which makes it easy to handle and transport. Inside there is an optical scheme made up of fifteen lenses, two of which are aspherical to reduce optical aberrations, one of the Special Low Dispersion type and one Extraordinary Low Dispersion which together reduce chromatic aberrations when light enters the lens. It was specifically created for DSLR cameras equipped with an APS-C sensor, which is why its use with Full Frame cameras is not recommended, the combination of which could give rise to an exaggerated vignetting effect. The 18-50mm f/2.8 DC Macro from Sigma has a decent focal aperture for a macro lens, which can also be used for portraits at maximum extension and with a significant minimum focusing distance; the minimum aperture opening is f/22, while the maximum is f/2.8, which allows you to play effectively with the focus. Finally, this lens does not have an integrated image stabilizer, but is nevertheless equipped with a fairly fast internal autofocus motor. Ideal for: the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC Macro is ideal for professional and amateur photographers who are looking for a good compromise between quality and price to obtain a passepartout macro lens, perfect not only for nature photography , but also for portraiture and which adapts effectively even in low light conditions.
