Leica Summicron-M 50mm f/2 [11816]

The Leica Summicron‑M 50mm f/2 [11816] is one of the most iconic lenses of the M system, here offered as a used lens guaranteed by RCE Foto. The Leica build quality, all metal with precision tolerances, ensures solidity, reliability, and a classic, clean, consistent rendering, highly appreciated in the photography community. Compact and discreet, it is a pillar of photographic equipment for M bodies and also finds its place on used mirrorless cameras via adapter.

Equipped with a Leica M mount and full frame coverage, it offers f/2 brightness for working with ambient light and achieving smooth bokeh. The manual focus is smooth and precise, with a focusing ring that moves like velvet and aperture clicks that are crisp and regular. It is recognized for micro-contrast, sharpness already wide open, and natural color rendering, as well as a compact, well-balanced metal construction that withstands professional use.

Ideal as an all-purpose 50mm for reportage, street, environmental portrait, and travel, it also adapts well to still life and video on mirrorless cameras with manual focus. Designed for demanding photographers seeking tonal consistency and detail without sacrificing compact dimensions, the Summicron‑M 50mm f/2 remains a reliable choice. The RCE Foto offer as guaranteed used adds security and value to the investment over time.
