Leica Noctilux-M 75mm F1.25 ASPH

(Leica)
The Leica Noctilux M 75mm f/1.25 Asph is a milestone, since it is the first attempt by Leica in producing the Nocritilux series in another focal length compared to the famous 50mm f/0.95 noctiLux. The Noctilux is certainly the king of lenses Leica and represents the object of desire for most photographers. The Leica Noctilux M 75mm f/1.25 ASPH is an enlarged version of the Noctilux Asf 50mm, but with the same constructive quality. The lens is probably the best ever made by Leica and Noctilux M 75mm is the largest and most heavy in the series. Just the weight is a not exactly positive parameter, the lens weighs in fact just over a kilogram, which for a teleobietivometer is a little excessive. The Leica Noctilux M 75mm f/1.25 Asph offers a modern rendering and a contrast and a saturation with slightly lower colors compared to the previous model. The sharpness is amazing even when taking the maximum opening. The Boken is pleasant, smooth and creamy, a perfect feature for creating portraits. Chromatic aberrations and purple fringes are non -existent in the Leica Noctilux m 75mm f/1.25 asph and the vineyard is not present in the wide angle, thus improving performance from previous models. It is an extremely fast lens and is able to create unique depths of field to isolate the subject even in low light conditions. The focus ring is fluid, but the excessive weight limits its prolonged use. For the first time, however, there is a screw attack for tripod directly on the lens body. The short length of the Leica Noctilux m 75mm f/1.25 Asph lends itself perfectly for portraits and street photography without disturbing the subject.
