Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 II

The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 II is a telephoto lens that has been out of production since 1999. Despite this, it is possible to come across a private sale so it is good to understand if it is worth buying. The focus is regulated by the classic AF motor but it is not ultrasonic and there is no image stabilizer. If used on APSC it becomes a super telephoto lens, enjoying a great focal distance. One of the advantageous points of this lens is certainly its versatility: it can be used in the naturalistic, landscape, portrait or street fields, depending on your needs. While it's not the best in terms of sharpness, it delivers images with nice bokeh which is why some photographers use it for portraits. Given the negligible price, the advice is to buy it to expand your photographic kit because the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 II really has an excellent value for money. Without considering the difficulty of finding it, making it an almost collector's item for younger photographers. It is not compatible with any multipliers or tripod ring so it is good to consider these two aspects before purchasing. The lens hood can be purchased separately, essential to avoid classic reflections in photos. Compatible for APSC and FF, it is ideal for amateur photographers who want a lightweight and versatile lens to use while traveling or hiking. Also recommended for those who want to spend little but also use it on an FF body in the near future.
