After almost 30 years on the market, precisely from 1987 to 2014, the excellent Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens is no longer in production. Despite this, it still represents one of the most sought after and used accessories by photographers and photography experts. Its main advantage is that of having a fairly wide angle of view, approximately 180 graphs diagonally, which ensures the creation of shots with a very large perspective and characterized by a strong creativity. The dimensions of this lens are decidedly small as is its weight which is just over 300 grams. This is not to say that the Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye is not very resistant: on the contrary, it has considerable robustness. Focus is guaranteed by a lens AF motor, not characterized by ultrasound, while there is no image stabilization. The strengths of this lens are represented by the excellent image quality as well as the sharpness it ensures; Furthermore, it also stands out intense colors and a contrast that fears no comparison. All this allows you to take panoramic photographs and by managing to keep your hand still and perpendicular to the ground, it is possible to almost completely eliminate image distortion. Also useful for taking night shots that allow you to immortalize the stars on clear nights. An excellent quality product which, although no longer in production, still performs its functions excellently.
