Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is one of the best solutions for APS-C camera solutions; On the market since 2016 it allows to obtain photographs of extraordinary effect thanks to the focusing from AF to ultrasound engine and the stabilization of the image. The construction materials are excellent ensuring good solidity and resistance of the device but, at the same time, tend to weigh it down, involving a fatigue of the arm after prolonged use. As soon as it is used, especially for naturalistic or fauna filming, it surprises the exceptional level of the stabilizer which, while photographing freehand, is able to ensure shots of considerable quality. Another aspect that leaves amazed is the speed of focusing focusing also to a very not very silent engine. The quality of the images is appreciated above all if you make shots with a slightly closed diaphragm which will appear characterized by a paragon sharpness. Only around 18 mm is it possible to perceive a slight distortion which, however, is quickly corrected by the Lightroom function. Ultimately we are faced with a lens that ensures excellent performance that can be used in any circumstance and that should always be present in the professional photographer's bag as well as in that of simple enthusiast.
