The Samyang T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC is a lens produced since 2012 and is suitable for FF and APSC format cameras with different mounts for various camera brands. Focusing occurs via manual focus and there is no image stabilization. The shooting angle for this model is 84.1 degrees, not very high considering other competitors, the minimum focusing distance is 20 centimetres. The main peculiarity of this support is the possibility of moving the 2 axes (shift and tilt) which change the optical axis and the plane of the lens. In this way you can obtain more detailed images than simple wide angle ones. Weight and dimensions are average and the materials with which it is built are resistant and durable. The images are characterized by good sharpness and faithful colors. Distortions and chromatic aberrations are slight and in any case completely manageable in PP. At the edges it slightly loses sharpness and the blurred effect is pleasant and non-aggressive.
The Samyang T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC is a lens suitable for all photographers looking for particular shots characterized by good final quality. It can be used by both professionals and amateurs, even if it is a totally manual support, a small period of practice is enough to be able to exploit its full potential. The cost is a few Euros higher than the average but this should not be seen as a deterrent, in any case there is always the possibility of buying it used and thus managing to save.
