The Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 AD represents the extreme zoom range, consisting of 15 elements divided into 14 groups with two aspherical elements. From a mechanical point of view it is very similar to its predecessor, but extends in an absolutely impeccable way in all zoom variations. Thanks to its size this lens is light and has an extraordinary opening mechanism. The focus is good with a 62 mm filter. It is not a top level but the quality, especially if related to its cost, is really interesting. The AF precision is remarkable and the quality of the images surprises. The Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 AD is designed to be used with digital reflex and for this it adapts well to all brands (as long as they have the opportunity to change focal). The magnifying ratio is 6,9x, the treatment of the lights is good but not excellent, however the ghost images and excellent color rendering at all levels are reduced. It is possible to implement with a petal charts to improve performance. The lens is designed for all those who mount a 35 mm. In the complex of the shots, however, it is possible to determine all the quality of the lens that manages to carry out what it promises. The result is maximal especially in the conditions of good lighting, less and less in the presence of darkness or haze. However, it is decisive than previous Sigma also in the same ways.
Ideal for: amateurs and aspiring photographers who want to start expanding the car body with an interesting cheap product. The performance of the Sigma 18-125mm lens f/3.5-5.6 AD are excellent, not excellent. A few finishing is missing but for non -professional use it is more than suitable.
