Recensione Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 Usato

An excellent telephoto lens for FF and APS-C format cameras: this is the best way to define the Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6, no longer in production since 2004 but which is still particularly appreciated by photography experts . Its good performance is guaranteed by the slow, non-ultrasonic AF motor, even if image stabilization is not present. The latter are, in any case, of excellent quality thanks to high color sharpness and a contrast that does not fear comparison even with current models. From the point of view of construction materials, unlike many products from the Japanese company, it is made with a prevalence of plastic, a circumstance which certainly makes it very light but at the same time also quite fragile. Its strong point, in addition to its low weight, is also its small size which makes it very practical to transport thanks to its small size. It does not have manual focus which in some circumstances can represent a strong limitation. Despite everything, however, it ensures good performance especially with regards to image quality. In fact, the sharpness is not penalized, also thanks to the excellent opening of the diaphragm, just as the color tones are also quite lively. Ultimately it can be considered a good solution for those who don't have many demands and need to purchase an economical product.
